Rancho Gesling is a Sugar Cane and Cattle Farm, who began in the Tourism just 5 years ago, by the opening the Hotel La Plazuela in 2004, and the Canopy and Horseback Riding tour in 2005. The Ranch is located very close to the beach area of Papagayo Gulf, 25 minutes from Coco Beach, Hermosa Beach and Panama Beach, 10 minutes from Daniel Oduber International Airport and 50 minutes from Tamarindo, Conchal beach and JW Marriott Hotel.

Gesling Family is being living in Guanacaste for many years working this beautiful farm with many different crops and they find out the potential of their farm in Tourism, that`s why they started with this project who provide jobs to local families, and the opportunity to share this beautiful part of Costa Rica with tourist from all over the word.
 
This is 12.500 acres farm, with lot of dry forest protected by the owners as a heritage for future generation as well as all the water sources inside the farm. Within 9 acres Hotel La Plazuela is located with lots of gorgeous greens, big Guanacaste, Panama and Cenizaro Trees and a beautiful atmosphere of a tipical Costa Rican Ranch with regular visits of the Howler monkeys. Our professional staff will be at your service with the commitment of high standards of quality and service.
 
We recommend morning bird watching walks in one of our well maintained trails for observation of at least 30 different species of local and migrant birds, like Ospreys, black headed Trogon, Baltimore oreal, aningha, Great egret, and many more.

The hotel offers 22 air conditioning rooms, swimming pool area, air conditioning restaurant, large and air conditioning lobby, Beautiful wood ceiling and nice teja roof. .
 
We also have near the Hotel, our own Canopy Tour, Horseback riding and Fresh water Fishing.

RANCHO GESLING OFFERS

In Rancho Gesling we also offer our experience in special events like weddings, birthdays celebrations, executive and incentive meetings.
 
We have our air conditioning meeting room for up to 25 people, beautiful greens and overlooking places, as well as all the equipment needed for up to 100 people in outdoors.
 
Of course we also have our own Bullring, up to 100 people for private activities as our traditional Fiesta de Toros a la Tica.
