Tempisque River Fishing This is the most important river in Guanacaste, where you will softly float on its tranquil waters. Excellent for Freshwater Fishing Anglers, watching the different kinds of birds that inhabit the area, and the march on the trees of the howler and white-faced monkeys passing by, using them as a corridor from the slopes of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, all the way to the border of Palo Verde National Park.

The shores of the river are bordered by gallery forest with centuries-old Guanacaste, Panama, Rain tree, among other typical species of the Guanacaste plains. Comfortable rafts or boats for up to 04 people are the perfect means to enjoy your fishing day. On the river shores we can observe the traditional “areneros” with the oxen that live in the same waters where the Tempisque crocodiles live.

We guarantee a great fishing experience in our lagoons or the Tempisque River aboard a comfortable aluminum boat with engines or raft with raft with paddles.

Equipment, snacks, drinks and bait is included. Snook (Centropomus Undecimalis), Red Sea catfish Bagre (pinnimaculatus), jaguar guapote (Parachromis managuensis) and tilapia del Nilo (Oreochromis niloticus). The lake is loaded with rainbow-bass and bagres, with the occasional 6 to 10 lb tilapia. Costa Rica has a very complex river system contained in a small terrain, which is very good if you like sport fishing.
